The object of this analysis focuses on the role plays, multimedia theatre director british Katie Mitchell, from Waves (2006) to La Maladie de la Mort (2018). The interest lies in the derivation of an established theater career towards the use of the language of film and audiovisual resources in the scene. The main objective has been to analyze the drama of the image in the 13 multimedia montages from the director in order to offer a more personal approach to his unique poetic and illustrate its contribution to the Performing Arts. In the scenario brings together elements of diverse origins, those to the realization of a film production with other more typical of the traditional performing art; the one and the other are geared to convey the underlying ideas in the text, dramatic and transform the drama in the show. The shaft of the research focuses specifically on this exchange of languages and its influence on the process of theatrical creation.
