In the next book we propose an analysis of the artistic, social and economic of the Spanish theatre in the now from a set of studies that cover the majority of the productions that have been made in recent years. With this purpose, four research groups of the Community of Madrid: Instituto del Teatro de Madrid, Universidad Complutense, the SELITEN@T University of Distance Education, the ILLA of the Superior Council of Scientific Research and the group ARES of the International University of La Rioja were formed, a common research project of the four: a digital Platform for research and dissemination of contemporary theatre in Madrid &#034;TEAMAD&#034; (ucm.is\/TEAMAD). The papers of this volume are incorporated within this project.
